The Property Tree, found on the left-hand side of the Viewport, facilitates the organization of Design Properties, Load Properties, and Analysis Properties. It also contains the Database Library (Materials, Laminates, Laminate Families, Fasteners, Rivets, and Failure Modes). Anything in the Database Library can be referenced by one of three aforementioned Properties.

All Properties and Materials that are organized here live in the Database and can therefore be shared by all Projects in that Database.
The search bar allows the user to search for specific Properties or Materials (Property names, Material IDs, etc.) that are organized in the Property Tree. To the right of the search bar are buttons that can be used to further manipulate the Tree.

Collapse - Collapses all Tree nodes.

Sync - Finds the Property(ies) that are currently selected in the Viewport and highlights them in the corresponding location in the Tree (thereby 'syncing' the Tree with the Viewport)
Tip
The Property Tree can be pinned/collapsed and dragged about the Viewport as needed. As Trees are moved, the layout is documented and managed behind the scenes in a configuration file (C:\HyperX\Settings\HyperXDockingLayout.xml). This way your chosen layout can be maintained in each subsequent HyperX session.
To restore the original Tree layout, close all HyperX instances and delete the config file mentioned above.
Properties and their referenced entities organized in the Tree can be created, edited, and deleted using the right click menu. Design, Load, and Analysis Properties can also be assigned to selected Viewport entities by clicking and dragging them from the Property Tree. Similarly, note that a left-click on a single node or combination of nodes will cause the entities that have been assigned that Property or Material (if currently 'shown') to be highlighted.
Each Design Property, Load Property, Analysis Property, and Material Type has its own node in the Property tree.
Design Property Nodes - Each Design Property has its own Tree node beneath the corresponding category (Panel, Joint, or Beam).
Load Property Nodes - Each Load Property has its own Tree node beneath the corresponding category (FEA Loads, User-Defined FEA loads, and General User-Defined loads).
Analysis Property Nodes - Each Analysis Property has its own Tree node beneath the corresponding category (Panel, Beam, Joint).
Library Nodes - Anything that can be referenced by a Property has a node under the Library section. Double-Clicking on a Library node launches the corresponding Library, from which each respective entities can be reviewed and edited.
