Properties are assigned to Zones and Joints to define an aspect of how those entities will be Sized and/or Analyzed.
There are three kinds of Properties:
-
Design Properties - Define the design space applied to each Zone or Joint. They hold material selections, geometry variables and ranges, and many other Sizing inputs.
-
Load Properties - Specify the desired FEA Load Extraction method and corresponding load vectors to be accounted for by that method.
-
Analysis Properties - Define the analysis criteria used to write margins of safety for the Zone they're assigned to. They are a collection of Failure Modes.
Important
A Zone/Joint must be assigned all three in order to be Sized/Analyzed.
