Analysis plugins can be installed anywhere on the user's machine. The location of the plugin package is a Database setting. A Template Database can be used to ensure that the database is preconfigured with the proper Plugin Package location.
Tip
The HyperX install includes 4 Plugin Packages and more are available upon request. For more information see Plugin Packages Included in Your Install.

Place the Plugin Package DLL in any location on the user's machine.

Open the HyperX Database.

In the Ribbon, go to Analysis | Plugins. See Database Plugin Options.

Click Add or the ellipsis (...) button.

Browse to the location of the DLL.

(Optional) Add another Plugin Package by clicking Add and browsing to the DLL.

Click OK.

Activate desired Plugin failure criteria by creating a Failure Mode corresponding to the desired methods and adding it to an Analysis Property.
The Analysis Plugins form is accessed by going to the Analysis tab of the Ribbon and clicking the Plugins button. This form defines the Database specific configuration for the Analysis Plugins.

These settings are defined per Database.
Main Window

Add - Adds a Plugin Package. You will be prompted to browse to the Plugin Package DLL file.

Remove - Removes the Plugin Package in the active tab.

OK - Saves the changes to the Database.

Cancel - Exits the form without saving changes.

Plugin Package File - Contains the full file path to the Plugin Package DLL. See Installing Analysis Plugins.

Plugins - Lists all of the Plugins within the Package. Plugins are defined in the code.

User Defined Analysis Settings - Lists all of the Analysis Settings within the Package. User Defined Analysis Settings are defined in the code.
Margins of Safety are displayed by Zone (or Structure/Object where applicable) in the Analysis Watch Window. They are used in Detailed Sizing to find minimum weight candidates and in final Analysis to generate Stress Reports.
Intermediate analysis details are plotted using the Legend, and available in the Watch Window and can be exported to spreadsheets.
Plotting critical buckling shear load on a wing cover
