Objective: Run a margin assessment on existing Sizing results, without making Design Property changes.
In many cases, it is beneficial to run a margin assessment on the as-sized results - particularly when changing loads processing techniques or adding/subtracting Failure Modes.
Note
In HyperSizer, this workflow was referred to as "freezing the design" - i.e. freezing all of the Sizing variables, such that they are locked in their current dimension and will not be sized in the next run.
The most common example is running an element-based margin assessment on Sizing results attained with a faster processing technique, such as Peak Element.
Because Sizing and Analysis inputs are separate from one another, the mechanism by which HyperX saves Sizing results for Analysis - i.e. 'pushes' them to Analysis Inputs - is through the Analysis Overrides Table. There are two buttons on the Ribbon that will allow the user to push Sizing results to the Analysis Overrides Table:
The first, if toggled on, will automatically do this for all Zones at the end of every single Sizing run. The second, if pushed, will do it once (now) for the selected Zones.
The general workflow is as follows:
In order to run a Sizing or Analysis, the following tasks must be completed first:

Make sure desired Material System(s) exist and are fully defined in the Material Library.
To only save the existing Sizing Results for a selection of Zones, click 'Copy Results to Overrides.'
Note
If the toggle to automatically perform this action is already set to 'on' (indicated below) there is no need to do this step.
Proceed to the Analysis Overrides Table to verify.
Examples of analysis alterations that could affect margins of safety include:

Importing new FEA Results - perhaps corresponding to a new loads drop on the global FEM.

Changing the Load Property.

Adding or removing methods from the Analysis Property.

Changing Zone Settings.

Updating Load Factors for limit, ultimate, thermal help, or thermal hurt.
