"Segment" refers to the Panel Segment entity, which HyperX uses to properly process loads for stiffened panels in which the stiffeners are discretely modeled in the FEM. There are Sample Projects for both Technique 2 and Technique 3 stiffener modeling strategies (see Overview of Modelling Strategies for more information). These Projects are further categorized by the type of panel Design Property being applied. See an overview of each below.

After opening a Sample Project, review both the Structure and Property Tree to understand the analysis entities and corresponding setup that are included in the Project.
Technique 2 Sample Projects - Projects that are set up to Size stiffened panels in which the stiffeners are represented as bar elements.
