Graph Sets can be added to Graphs to visually plot their data. Graphs can be customized to visualize the data however you see fit. You can also share with members of your team.
To create a Graph:

Click the “Graphs” tab at the top of the web page.

Click the green “+” button on the top left of your screen to see the following dropdown:

Choose to create a “Blank Graph” or create one from a Template.

Blank Graphs –Just that, a Graph with no Graph Set data added and otherwise default settings. Selecting this option will bring up a form where you can enter the name of the Graph. After you enter that you will have to customize your graph settings to begin plotting data, this is covered in How To Customize Graphs.

Template Graphs – Graphs with settings pre-populated from default or saved templates. Selecting this option will open a new form which we will discuss more below.

Graph Templates offer a way to quickly set up a new Graph based on pre-defined settings. Those settings can be customized after it’s been created and then those changes can be saved as a new Template.
To create a Graph from a Template:

Complete the steps above and select “New From Template” to open the “Create Graph From Template” form.

Use the “Graph Sets” dropdown on the bottom of the form to select one or more Graph Sets to plot in the Graph.

After that, the form will update to show available Templates.

Determine your desired Template by utilizing the features of the form.

Choose between Default and Custom Templates.

Default – Templates that have been created by Collier Aerospace and are available to all Users.

Custom – Templates that have been created and saved by you.

You can also search for Templates by name or description using the search bar.

The list of available Templates will update to reflect your choices during step 4a and 4b. Each available option is highlighted with a color to indicate the Graph Template’s compatibility with your selected Graph Set(s) at a glance.

Green – Full Compatibility, the settings of this Template will display the data in a well-formatted and presentable manner.

Yellow – Partial Compatibility, the settings of this Template will only display some of the data well. You will have to alter some settings to better visualize the rest of the data.

Red – No compatibility, the Graph Set does not contain the data required by this Template. It will not display well, if anything displays at all. Select another Template or create and customize a Blank Graph for this data.

After selecting a Template from that list, a preview of the Graph it will create will appear to the right. Observe it to confirm that the selected Template is the best choice for the selected Graph Set.

Optionally, change the name of the new Graph by updating the text in the “Graph Name” input. The Graph will retain the name of the Template if you do not change the name here.

Press the green “+ Create” button in the bottom right corner to create the Graph.
