To Analyze in HyperX is to assess the margin of safety values for a single design at the current load state - i.e. no variables are being Sized.
Tip
See Sizing vs. Analysis for recent updates to the Sizing and Analysis workflows.
Implementation Guidelines
Analysis is one of the two different inputs that can be defined on the Design Property. Define Analysis Inputs by first selecting the Analysis radial button and then providing the corresponding design space information for each dimension in the cross-section.
The Analysis operation is executed for a selection of Zones by clicking the Analyze button on the Run tab of the Ribbon.
Note
This operation will only take into consideration the Analysis Inputs from the Design Property (not the Sizing Inputs).
Use the Analysis Overrides table to enforce engineering judgment to edit analysis dimensions - without changing the overall Design Property.
Define the design space applied to each Zone or Joint. They are akin to property cards or section definitions in the FEA terms.
